Description
LC Horizontal Lifting Clamp for Steel Plate Transfer
The LC Horizontal Lifting Clamp is designed
for horizontal lifting and transfer of steel plates, with a
compact construction that is light in weight relative to
its lifting capacity.
The LC design uses a plate-supporting profile and
buffer-cam arrangement to facilitate insertion and
removal beneath the plate. It can also be used beneath
a suitable spreader in appropriate lifting arrangements.
The current KKV technical range covers
1T, 2T and 3T. The listed working load
limit is based on paired clamp use.
Lightweight Horizontal Plate Handling in Paired Operation
Horizontal Plate Lifting
Designed for controlled horizontal lifting
and transfer of steel plates.
Paired Clamp Operation
The listed working load limit is based on
using the clamps as a pair.
Lightweight Construction
Compact clamp weight helps simplify handling
and positioning on the plate.
Plate-Supporting Profile
The clamp profile is designed to facilitate
insertion and removal beneath the plate.
Steel Lifting Eye
The upper lifting eye provides the rigging
connection point for the clamp assembly.

Complete Clamp Assembly
The complete LC structure combines a compact body,
lifting eye and plate-supporting components for
paired horizontal lifting.
Compact Side Profile
The low-profile design helps simplify positioning
around suitable plate edges before lifting.
Durable Load-Contact Area
The gripping and supporting surfaces are designed
for repeated steel plate handling in the intended
paired lifting arrangement.
Lifting Eye & Product Details
The lifting eye provides the rigging connection,

capacity identification.
Use LC Clamps as a Balanced Pair
The listed working load limit for the LC clamp is based
on paired operation. Both clamps should be positioned to
support the plate evenly and connected to a suitable
lifting arrangement.
Select and rig clamps as a matched pair
for the listed WLL.
Position both clamps to maintain stable
horizontal load support.
Confirm the plate is within the specified
jaw-opening range.
Avoid shock loading and verify stable clamp
engagement before travel.
LC Horizontal Lifting Clamp Applications
Building Construction
Horizontal handling of suitable steel plates
during structural work.
Shipbuilding
Plate handling in suitable shipyard and
fabrication operations.
Metal Workshops
Moving steel plates between fabrication and
processing stations.
Civil Engineering
Suitable plate handling for construction
and infrastructure projects.
How to Select an LC Horizontal Lifting Clamp
Determine Pair Capacity
Select the listed WLL according to the total
load carried by the clamp pair.
Measure Plate Thickness
Confirm that the plate fits within the
applicable jaw-opening range.
Plan Clamp Position
Position the pair so the load remains
balanced during horizontal lifting.
Check the Rigging Arrangement
Use suitable slings, spreader or lifting
hardware for the intended operation.
Inspect Plate Contact Areas
Verify that both clamp contact areas are
suitable for secure engagement.
Inspect Both LC Clamps Before Lifting
