Description
JX Wire Rope Grip
The JX Wire Rope Grip is a compact cable pulling clamp designed to temporarily grip steel wire ropes and cables during pulling, tensioning, installation and maintenance work.
Four models provide rated capacities from 0.5T to 3T and jaw-opening ranges from 1 mm to 32 mm. Heat-treated gripping components, a multi-link clamping mechanism and a cable-retention device support reliable operation when the correct model is matched to the intended cable and pulling requirement.
CORE FEATURES
====================================================== –>
Built for Controlled Wire Rope Pulling and Tensioning
Heat-Treated Gripping Parts
Specially treated gripping components provide the strength and durability required for repeated pulling and tensioning work.
Secure Jaw Contact
The jaw profile is designed to maintain dependable contact with a compatible wire rope or cable during operation.
Half-Moon Jaw Profile
The curved gripping profile accommodates the specified cable-diameter range while helping distribute contact along the rope surface.
Cable-Retention Device
An integrated retention feature helps keep a correctly fitted cable positioned within the gripping area.
0.5T–3T Model Range
JX-0.5, JX-1, JX-2 and JX-3 models cover different pulling-capacity and cable-diameter requirements.
Compact Multi-Link Structure
The compact linkage, jaw and attachment-eye assembly is easy to carry and convenient for field installation and maintenance tasks.
Mechanical Linkage with Integrated Gripping Jaw
The JX series combines a shaped gripping jaw, pivoting links, pins, a retention component and a pulling eye in one compact assembly. The interconnected mechanism transfers the applied pulling force through the linkage to the gripping area.
Designed for Temporary Cable Gripping Operations
The JX Wire Rope Grip can provide a temporary gripping point during compatible wire-rope and cable pulling work. Final model selection must match the actual cable and application requirements.
Temporary gripping during the positioning and installation of compatible steel wire ropes.
Provides a connection point for controlled pulling and tensioning work.
Supports controlled cable adjustment during industrial installation tasks.
Suitable for temporary gripping during compatible repair and replacement work.
How to Select the Right JX Wire Rope Grip
Required Pulling Capacity
Select a model whose rated capacity covers the maximum intended pulling requirement. Standard JX models are rated at 0.5T, 1T, 2T and 3T.
Wire Rope or Cable Diameter
Measure the actual diameter and choose the corresponding jaw range: 1–10, 2.5–16, 4–22 or 16–32 mm.
Cable Material and Construction
Confirm that the jaw profile is suitable for the cable material, strand construction and surface condition before use.
Pulling Equipment and Connection
Check the compatibility and rated capacity of the pulling device, connector and attachment arrangement used with the grip.
Operating Conditions
Provide information about the intended use, environment, cable specification, quantity, branding and documentation requirements before ordering.
Inspection Before Shipment
Key gripping, connecting and moving components are checked before shipment.
Four Models for 1–32 mm Cable Diameters
The JX series includes JX-0.5, JX-1, JX-2 and JX-3. Review the Specifications tab for capacity, jaw-opening range, principal dimensions and net weight.
Configurations for Different Markets and Projects
Discuss order-specific requirements with KKV before production.
Inspection and Maintenance
Inspect the grip before use and keep its moving and gripping components clean and serviceable.
Check the gripping surfaces for wear, contamination, deformation or damage.
Inspect moving and load-transmitting components for looseness, wear or deformation.
Confirm that the cable-retention feature moves correctly and is not damaged.
Check the body, attachment eye and rated-load markings before operation.
