CARGO SECURING & LASHING

CL/RTD Ratchet Tie-Down Strap for Cargo Securing

The CL/RTD Ratchet Tie-Down Strap is designed
for securing cargo on trucks, trailers, containers and other
transportation or storage systems where controlled webbing
tension is required.

The ratchet mechanism allows the operator to progressively
tension the webbing around or over the cargo, helping hold
the load in position during transportation and handling.

The current CL/RTD range includes webbing widths from
25 mm to 100 mm, with listed Working Load
Limits from 150 kg to 3350 kg and Minimum
Breaking Strength values up to 10000 kg.

CARGO CONTROL

Adjustable Webbing Tension for Transported Loads

CL/RTD straps are intended for
cargo restraint rather than lifting.
The webbing, ratchet mechanism and end fittings form a
complete securing assembly for holding goods in position.

01

Ratchet Tensioning

The mechanical ratchet allows progressive tightening
of the webbing to secure the cargo.

02

Multiple Webbing Widths

Available widths include 25, 38, 50, 75 and 100 mm
for different cargo-securing requirements.

03

Multiple Capacity Levels

Listed Working Load Limits range from 150 kg
to 3350 kg depending on the selected assembly.

04

Alternative End Fittings

Different end-fitting configurations are available
to suit different cargo anchoring arrangements.

CAPACITY RATINGS

Working Load Limit and Minimum Breaking Strength

Each CL/RTD configuration has its own
Working Load Limit (WLL) and
Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS).

The correct strap should be selected using the rated capacity
of the complete securing assembly rather than webbing width
alone.

Minimum Breaking Strength identification stripes are provided,
with each stripe representing
1 tonne of M.B.S.

LENGTH CONFIGURATION

Fixed-End and Loose-End Lengths

The listed CL configurations use a
0.5 m fixed end, while loose-end length
varies according to strap width and model.

Longer or alternative lengths can also be supplied
according to ordering requirements.

END FITTING OPTIONS

Match the Strap to the Cargo Anchor Point

Different end fittings are available at additional cost,
allowing the tie-down assembly to be matched to different
vehicle, trailer or cargo anchoring arrangements.

Confirm the required fitting type together with strap width,
