ORM Series Spring Balancer
The ORM Series Spring Balancer is an auxiliary suspension device designed to support hand-operated tools and equipment. It helps offset the weight of the suspended tool, making operation easier and reducing operator fatigue during repetitive work.
- Designed for use with assembly tools, pneumatic tools, electric tools, and other operating equipment.
- Helps keep suspended tools nearly weightless during operation.
- Significantly reduces operator workload and physical fatigue.
- Improves working efficiency in repetitive assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Allows the tool to move smoothly within the specified working stroke.
- Available in load ranges from 1.5 kg to 160 kg.
- Suitable for production lines, workshops, vehicle assembly, machinery maintenance, and industrial workstations.
Description
ORM Series Spring Balancer
The ORM Series Spring Balancer is an auxiliary suspension device designed to counterbalance hand-operated, pneumatic and electric tools during repetitive assembly, production and maintenance work.
Fifteen listed models cover supported loads from 1.5 kg to 160 kg and working strokes from 1.3 m to 1.7 m. By offsetting part or all of the suspended tool weight, the balancer helps reduce handling effort while allowing the tool to move within its specified working range.
Balanced Tool Support for Repetitive Work
Counterbalance Assistance
The internal spring mechanism helps offset the weight of a correctly matched suspended tool or device.
1.5–160 kg Load Range
Fifteen models provide multiple load ranges for light assembly tools through heavier industrial equipment.
1.3–1.7 m Working Stroke
Different model groups provide 1.3 m, 1.5 m or 1.7 m cable travel for varied workstation layouts.
Power-Free Mechanical Support
The mechanical spring system operates without a continuous electrical or pneumatic power supply.
Steel Cable and Lower Hook
The retractable steel cable and lower snap hook provide a practical connection for compatible suspended tools.
Reduced Handling Effort
Correctly selected and adjusted tool support can help reduce operator fatigue during repetitive tasks.
Compact Enclosed Spring and Cable Assembly
The spring balancer combines an upper suspension hook, enclosed spring housing, internal cable drum, cable guide, retractable steel cable and lower connection hook. The enclosed design keeps the principal balancing components together in a compact workstation unit.
Designed for Industrial Tool-Support Workstations
ORM Spring Balancers support compatible tools and operating equipment where controlled vertical movement and reduced handling effort are required.
Supports frequently used tools at repetitive production and assembly stations.
Counterbalances compatible air tools used in manufacturing and repair work.
Helps position compatible suspended electric tools within the working stroke.
Provides tool support during repeated equipment inspection and servicing tasks.
How to Select the Right Spring Balancer
Confirm Total Suspended Weight
Include the tool and all suspended accessories, hoses, cables and connectors when determining the required load range.
Select the Correct Load Range
Choose a model whose listed load range contains the actual total suspended weight rather than selecting by maximum capacity alone.
Check Required Working Stroke
Compare the required vertical tool movement with the listed 1.3 m, 1.5 m or 1.7 m stroke.
Confirm Mounting Position
Check the overhead support point, installation height, surrounding clearance and tool working area.
Review Operating Requirements
Provide the tool type, total weight, required stroke, operating frequency, quantity, branding and documentation requirements before ordering.
Inspection Before Shipment
Key suspension, balancing and retracting components are checked before shipment.
Fifteen Models from 1.5 kg to 160 kg
The ORM series covers light, medium and heavy tool-support requirements. Review the Specifications tab for each model’s load range, working stroke and net weight.
Configurations for Different Workstations and Markets
Discuss order-specific requirements with KKV before production.
Inspection and Maintenance
Regular inspection helps keep the spring balancer and suspended tool connection in serviceable condition.
Inspect the cable for broken wires, kinks, corrosion, deformation or abnormal wear.
Check suspension and tool-connection points for wear, damage or deformation.
Confirm that cable extension and retraction are smooth within the required working range.
Inspect the casing and confirm that model, load-range and operating markings remain legible.
