Description
HSZ-C Manual Chain Hoist for Industrial Vertical Lifting
The KKV HSZ-C Manual Chain Hoist is a manually operated
chain block designed for controlled vertical lifting in
industrial, construction and maintenance environments.
Because the hoist operates mechanically through the hand
chain, no external electrical power is required. This makes
the HSZ-C suitable for workshops, factories, warehouses,
equipment installation, construction sites and temporary
lifting locations.
The HSZ-C series is available in rated capacities from
0.5T to 10T and combines
G80 alloy steel load chain,
an automatic double-pawl braking system,
zinc-plated hand chain and
360° rotating forged hooks.
Controlled Load Lifting Without External Power
The HSZ-C converts manual hand-chain movement into controlled
load-chain travel, providing a straightforward mechanical
solution for general industrial lifting work.
Vertical Lifting
Lift machinery, components and materials during
installation, assembly, repair and maintenance.
Manual Operation
Operates without electricity, pneumatic power
or another external power source.
Multiple Capacities
Seven rated capacities from 0.5T to 10T cover
different industrial lifting requirements.
Industrial Applications
Suitable for production, maintenance, construction,
warehousing and equipment installation work.
Automatic Double-Pawl Braking System
The HSZ-C is equipped with an
automatic double-pawl braking system
designed to support controlled lifting and lowering during
manual operation.
Double-Pawl Design
Dual pawls form part of the mechanical braking
arrangement used during lifting and lowering.
Controlled Operation
The braking mechanism works together with the
hand-chain lifting system for controlled load handling.
G80 Alloy Steel Load Chain
The HSZ-C uses G80 alloy steel load chain
for lifting. Chain diameter and the number of load-chain
falls vary according to the rated capacity of each model.
The series uses chain diameters from
6 mm to 10 mm depending on capacity,
with single-, double- and four-fall configurations across
the model range.
Zinc-Plated Hand Chain
A zinc-plated hand chain is used for manual lifting and
lowering operation, allowing the operator to control load
movement without powered equipment.
360° Rotating Hooks
The upper and lower hook assemblies can rotate through
360°, providing greater flexibility when
attaching the hoist to the suspension point and connecting
the load.
The hook components are designed for industrial lifting
applications and should be inspected before each operation
for visible deformation, wear or damage.
Optional Load Limiter
A load limiter is available as an optional
configuration for customers with additional
overload-control requirements.
Specify the load-limiter requirement when requesting a
quotation so the required HSZ-C configuration can be
confirmed before production.
Suitable for General Industrial Lifting
Factories
Machinery, component and equipment lifting during
production, assembly and maintenance.
Workshops
Manual lifting for repair, equipment servicing
and assembly work.
Construction Sites
Temporary lifting operations where electrical
lifting equipment is unavailable or unnecessary.
Equipment Installation
Controlled lifting and positioning of machinery
and structural components during installation.
How to Select the Right HSZ-C Chain Hoist
Select the appropriate HSZ-C model according to rated
capacity, lifting height, available headroom, operating
force and load-chain configuration. When requesting a quote for an HSZ-C manual chain hoist, include the load mass in kilograms or metric tonnes, required lift, quantity, destination and any load-limiter requirement.
01
Rated Capacity
Available capacities are 0.5T, 1T, 1.5T,
2T, 3T, 5T and 10T. Select a capacity that
covers the maximum intended working load.
02
Lifting Height
Compare the standard lift with the actual vertical
travel required by the application.
03
Available Headroom
Check the minimum distance between hooks against
the available installation height.
04
Chain Configuration
Higher-capacity models use additional load-chain
falls. Compare the chain configuration in the
Specifications tab before ordering.
05
Load Limiter Requirement
Confirm whether the optional load limiter is
required before the product configuration is
finalized.
Inspection Before Shipment
Brake Function
The double-pawl braking mechanism is checked for
normal operation.
Chain Travel
Load-chain and hand-chain movement are checked
during inspection.
Hook Assembly
Hook condition and rotational movement are checked
before shipment.
External Condition
Housing, fasteners and visible components are
inspected before packing.
CE-Certified HSZ-C Manual Chain Hoist

HSZ-C Manual Chain Hoist FAQs
What are the standard lifting heights?
The listed standard lift is 2.5 m for the 0.5 t, 1 t and 1.5 t models; 3 m for the 2 t, 3 t and 5 t models; and 3.5 m for the 10 t model. Confirm your required lift before ordering.
Is the load limiter included as standard?
A load limiter is available as an optional configuration at additional cost. Include this requirement in your quotation request so the configuration can be confirmed.
Does t mean a US short ton?
The specifications use metric tonnes: 1 t equals 1,000 kg and differs from a US short ton. State the required load in kilograms to avoid unit ambiguity.
