Description

HSZ-A MANUAL CHAIN HOIST

HSZ-A Heavy-Duty Manual Chain Hoist for Industrial Lifting

The KKV HSZ-A Manual Chain Hoist is a compact hand-operated
chain block designed for controlled vertical lifting in
workshops, factories, construction sites, maintenance areas
and general industrial environments.

Its manually operated lifting mechanism requires no external
power supply, making the HSZ-A suitable for permanent lifting
points as well as temporary work locations where electric
lifting equipment may be unnecessary or unavailable.

The series is available in rated capacities from
0.5T to 10T and combines a
G80 alloy steel load chain,
zinc-plated hand chain,
reliable disc brake and
forged, heat-treated 360° rotating hooks.

HEAVY-DUTY COMPACT DESIGN

Compact Construction for Industrial Lifting

The HSZ-A combines a heavy-duty manual lifting configuration
with a compact chain-block structure, providing a practical
solution for industrial lifting where simple operation and
mechanical reliability are important.

01

Vertical Lifting

Raise machinery, equipment and materials during
installation, assembly and maintenance work.

02

Manual Operation

Operates through the hand chain without requiring
electricity or another external power source.

03

Compact Structure

Compact construction supports installation in
workshops, production areas and temporary lifting
locations.

04

0.5T–10T Range

Multiple capacities allow the HSZ-A series to cover
different general industrial lifting requirements.

LOAD CONTROL

Reliable Disc Brake

The HSZ-A is equipped with a
reliable mechanical disc brake
designed to support controlled load lifting and lowering
during manual operation.

The braking system works together with the internal lifting
mechanism to provide controlled hand-chain operation within
the rated load of the selected model.

CHAIN SYSTEM

G80 Load Chain and Zinc-Plated Hand Chain

The HSZ-A uses G80 alloy steel load chain
for lifting and a zinc-plated hand chain
for manual operation.

Load-chain diameter and the number of chain falls vary
according to the rated capacity of each model.

G80 Alloy Load Chain

Load-chain specification is matched to the lifting
capacity of each HSZ-A model.
Zinc-Plated Hand Chain

Zinc-plated hand chain is supplied for manual
lifting and lowering operation.

HOOK ASSEMBLY

Forged and Heat-Treated 360° Rotating Hooks

The upper and lower hooks are
drop forged and heat treated
and feature 360° rotation to provide
greater flexibility when connecting the hoist and load.

OPTIONAL CONFIGURATION

Optional Load Limiter

A load limiter can be supplied as an optional
configuration
for customers with additional
project or purchasing requirements.

Please specify the load-limiter requirement when requesting
a quotation so the appropriate HSZ-A configuration can be
confirmed before production.

APPLICATIONS

Manual Lifting for Industrial Working Environments

Factories

General machinery and component lifting during
production, assembly and maintenance work.

Workshops

Controlled manual lifting for repair, assembly
and equipment servicing.

Construction

Temporary lifting where a manually operated chain
block is more practical than powered equipment.

Equipment Installation

Lifting and positioning machinery and components
during installation operations.

SELECTION GUIDE

How to Select an HSZ-A Manual Chain Hoist

Select the appropriate model according to rated capacity,
lifting height, available headroom, hand-chain pull and
optional configuration requirements.

01

Rated Capacity

Choose a model that covers the maximum intended
working load. Available capacities are 0.5T,
1T, 1.5T, 2T, 3T, 5T and 10T.

02

Lifting Height

Check the standard lifting height against the
actual vertical travel required by the application.

03

Available Headroom

Compare the minimum distance between hooks with
the space available at the lifting location.

04

Operating Force

Compare the chain-pull force at full load when
choosing between different capacities.

05

Optional Load Limiter

Specify whether the optional load limiter is
required before confirming the order.

QUALITY CONTROL

Product Inspection Before Shipment

Brake Operation

The disc-brake mechanism is checked for normal
operating condition.
Chain Travel

Load-chain and hand-chain movement are checked
during product inspection.
Hook Assembly

Hook condition, rotation and visible components
are checked before packing.
External Condition

Housing, covers, fasteners and visible components
are inspected before shipment.

COMPLIANCE

CE-Certified HSZ-A Manual Chain Hoist

The KKV HSZ-A Manual Chain Hoist series is CE-certified
for the applicable product configurations.

INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE

Routine Inspection Before Use

Inspect the G80 load chain for wear, deformation,
corrosion or other visible damage.
Check the hand chain and confirm that it travels
correctly through the hand wheel.
Inspect upper and lower hooks and confirm free
360° rotation without visible damage.
Confirm the disc brake and lifting mechanism operate
normally before applying the working load.
Never exceed the rated lifting capacity and never use
the chain hoist for lifting personnel.

ORDERING SUPPORT

HSZ-A Manual Chain Hoist Ordering Questions

Does t mean a US short ton?

The listed capacities use metric tonnes: 1 t equals 1,000 kg. A metric tonne differs from a US short ton, so state the required load in kilograms when requesting a quotation.

What information is needed for a quotation?

State the HSZ-A capacity, required lift, available headroom, quantity and delivery destination. Include any optional load-limiter requirement so KKV can confirm the configuration before ordering.
